Coral Morphologic is a marine biologist-owned coral aquaculture laboratory and multi-media aquarium studio based in Overtown (Miami), Florida.

We spend our time cloning corals, exploring coral reefs, making educational films, and documenting marine-life using cutting-edge techniques. Our aim is to create a multi-media output that advances scientific discourse in a manner that is both artistic and understandable.

As marine biologists and aquaculturists, our ultimate goal is to improve the understanding and appreciation of coral species, specifically those local to Florida's reefs. Over the years, we have contributed valuable information to the scientific world, including the discovery of two new zoanthid species, along with increasing the understanding of the biological requirements, reproductive strategies, and morphological adaptations of under-studied corallimorph and zoanthid species.

The Smithsonian Institution, MIT, and multiple public aquariums all display our corals. We have a long-term goal of creating a living, genetic data bank of coral species and morphs that serves as a platform for developing new aquaculture techniques and biological assays. We are working in formal collaboration on this goal with our partners at the Coral Biome project, housed at the Universite de Provence in Marseilles, France.

Cheers,
