Our good friends at Sweat Records will be celebrating their 5th birthday Saturday, April 17th with a free, all-ages block party (little festival) with LA’s No Age headlining a full day of awesome South Floridian music. The 17th also happens to be Record Store Day; limited-edition vinyl will be supplied in-doors. Along with the bands, DJ’s, comics, and a Pure Imagination reading, we will be projecting ‘living posters’ during live Otto Von Schirach and No Age sets. See you there…

Pictured above and below is ‘Version Key’ as installed at the Miami’s Independent Thinkers art show during the days of Art Basel Miami Beach.  The aquarium consisted of an eroded cinder block, red mangrove (Rhizophora mangle) seedling, and three upside-down jellyfish (Cassiopea xamachana) pulsating on oolitic sand; not an atypical South Floridian assemblage.  It was displayed against a silver parachute backdrop on a concrete block pedestal surrounded by oolitic sand.
